Authorities of the University of Lagos have issued the funeral programme for the late 10th Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe, FAS.
Below is the programme:
- Friday, May 25, 2012: Special Jumat/Prayer Service at 1.30 p.m. at UNILAG Mosque.
- Sunday, May 27, 2012: Special Prayer/Service at 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. at:
- Chapel of Christ, Our Light, Main Campus, Akoka;
- St. Thomas Moore Catholic Main Campus, Akoka; and
- Chapel of Healing Cross, Idi-Araba Campus
- Monday, May 28, 2012: Special Songs & Prayer Sessions by Church Societies, Committee of Friends and Campus Communities at the VC’s Lodge at 5.00p.m.
- Tuesday, May 29, 2012: Service of Songs at the Chapel of Christ, Our Light, Main Campus, Akoka, Lagos at 5.00 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 30, 2012:
- A Special Senate at the Senate Chamber, Senate House, Main Campus, Akoka at 12.00 noon
- Wake-Keep at the Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus, Akoka from5.00 p.m. to 6.00p.m.
- Lying-in- State at Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus, Akoka from8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.;
- Funeral Service at All Saints Church, Montgomery, Yaba at10.00a.m.; and
- Interment at Ikoyi Vaults & Gardens at 12.30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 3, 2012: Outing Service at All Saints Church, Montgomery, Yaba at 7.00 a.m.
